Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to Pearl Valley Hotel by Mantis, located on the prestigious Val de Vie Estate. After settling into your elegant suite, tee off at Pearl Valley Golf Course, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course ranked among the best in Africa. After your round, enjoy a wine tasting at the estate followed by a relaxed dinner overlooking the greens.
After breakfast, transfer to nearby De Zalze Golf Club or Steenberg Golf Estate for another spectacular round. Post-golf, explore Franschhoek, known as South Africa’s culinary capital. Enjoy a long wine-paired lunch or visit estates like Haute Cabrière or La Motte. Return to Pearl Valley for sunset drinks and a gourmet evening.
Today is yours to enjoy as you wish. Relax at the estate, visit a spa, hike in the mountains, or book a private cellar tour and food pairing lunch at a boutique winery. Alternatively, take a private car into Stellenbosch or Paarl for artisanal shopping and cafes. Optional: add a third round of golf or a guided wine tour.
After breakfast, transfer to Cape Town Airport and fly to Hoedspruit. You’ll be met and transferred to Kapama River Lodge, located in Kapama Private Game Reserve. After lunch, head out on your first afternoon game drive, tracking elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. Return for dinner around the boma fire.
Wake before sunrise for coffee and your morning game drive—prime time to see predators on the move. Return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast and a chance to relax by the pool or indulge in a spa treatment. Later, depart on your evening safari, ending with sundowners in the bush and a stylish dinner
Enjoy another full day in safari rhythm. Visit a waterhole for wildlife viewing, learn tracking skills from your ranger, or take a photographic safari. Kapama is home to over 40 mammal species and 350 birds, and sightings of rhinos, leopards, and elephants are common. Cap the day with a celebratory bush dinner under the stars.
After a final early morning game drive and breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Optional: overnight in Johannesburg or connect to your international flight the same day. Dayroom or hotel bookings available on request.
