Itinerary

Day 1Welcome to Kenya – Arrive in Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where your private guide greets you for a VIP transfer to Hemingways Nairobi. Nestled in the tranquil Karen suburb, this colonial-style boutique hotel offers gracious service, spa options, and views of the Ngong Hills. Enjoy a welcome dinner and briefing for your epic journey ahead.

Day 2Nairobi – Elephants, Giraffes & Colonial Charm

Begin with a visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to meet rescued baby elephants, followed by a stop at Giraffe Centre for close encounters with Rothschild giraffes. Enjoy lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden or Giraffe Manor. The afternoon is yours to relax or explore Nairobi’s art scene before returning to Hemingways for dinner.

Day 3Fly to Masai Mara – Game Viewing Begins

Transfer to Wilson Airport for your scenic bush flight to Ol Kiombo or Mara North Airstrip, landing in the world-renowned Masai Mara. Check in to a luxury lodge—Angama Mara, Mara Plains Camp, or Mara Nyika Camp. Begin with a thrilling afternoon game drive, followed by sundowners and dinner under the stars.

Day 4Masai Mara – Big Cats & Endless Plains

Enjoy a full day of wildlife encounters in the Mara. Track the Big Five, witness dramatic predator-prey interaction, and (in season) the Great Migration crossings. Optional hot-air balloon safari at sunrise available. Return to camp for a night of storytelling, fine cuisine, and star-filled skies.

Day 5Cross Border to Tanzania – Serengeti Wilderness

After breakfast, drive toward the Isebania Border, completing immigration procedures. Continue by road to Tarime Airstrip, and board your charter flight to Seronera Airstrip in the heart of the Central Serengeti. Check into the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, known for its elevated decks overlooking a watering hole. Afternoon game drive followed by elegant dining.

Day 6Serengeti – Wildlife and Luxury

Spend the day on game drives across the central Serengeti plains, known for lions, cheetahs, and dramatic scenery. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild or return to the lodge for a spa treatment and pool time. Sunset drinks are followed by a lantern-lit dinner on the deck.

Day 7To Ngorongoro – Crater Views & Highland Escape

After a morning drive and breakfast, enjoy a scenic overland transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at your crater-edge lodge such as Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, The Highlands, or Neptune Ngorongoro Lodge. Settle in and enjoy views over the crater, followed by a fireside dinner.

Day 8Ngorongoro Crater – Nature’s Amphitheatre

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this World Heritage Site. Look out for rhino, lion, hippo, flamingos, and more. Enjoy a picnic in the crater before returning to the lodge for a relaxed afternoon and final sunset overlooking the ancient caldera.
